Post Body

I'm getting the rest of what I can fit in my car packed up and I'll be on my own later today.

My biggest concern right now is how do I stay warm? I live up in the mountains and expect there to be snow the next few nights. Obviously I can't leave my car running so what's my best options for staying warm these next few nights? All I've got are a couple blankets, and an emergency heat blanket.

My plan is I know of a trail with very little traffic, and there's a little spot just off the drive up that's maybe a mile from the trailhead where I can set up and camp out for a few nights. I shouldn't be bothered there. Knowing this, what are some other camping supplies that I might need? My budget is a little tight too but I want to be comfortable. Any advice is greatly appreciated
