Forget in a romantic sense, strictly platonic with other people I meet. I tend to get attached very easily and quickly. I'm a 26M and been through a lot in my life (from getting beaten up in high school, racism - called the n word regularly in school, laughed at, humiliated, harassed, molested by coworker, nearly was homeless and so forth.

When I meet people, mostly they don't reciprocate (I won't even be overbearing or anything. I literally act normal but they just aren't interested in talking or have their own friends). I get iced.

If it is reciprocated, we'll talk a lot then they leave (get too busy with stuff and just aren't the same as before). Ive never had a close friend before in my life.
