In countries where it's common to eat dinner with many smaller dishes, do people stand in the kitchen and cook them all at once for that meal, or is it more common to make a huge batch and then just put it in the freezer/fridge to user later?
Post Body

In some countries it's not uncommon for dinner to consist of 10-15 smaller dishes. I'm curious how much time people spend in the kitchen, and if they just cook for that one meal or if they often make a big batch for later.
