What's the deal with car boots and golf clubs?
Post Body
I notice that whenever the storage space of a car, especially a nicer car is concerned, reviewers and dealers always mention that 'you can fit golf clubs in here' what exactly is the history behind this as the standard object of reference? and why specifically golf? there are other hobbies and sports that use large things that could hard to fit in a car, fishing? guitars and other large musical instruments? bicycles? shooting? why golf clubs and not any of those?
