Do you ever see famous men use their mum's maiden name?
Post Body

Plenty of women used their mother maiden name for whatever reason like how Katy Perry doesn't use their real last name of Hudson because someone else was using the same name as Perry. The person in question was Katie Hudson so Katy Perry was forced to use her mum maiden name because she couldn't uses her real surname and also because she respects her mum and want to honour her while she's performing. Even if she gets married to Orlando Bloom then she will still use her stage name because changing it would cause confusion, cost money and people would consider it unnecessary. In an episode of the Simpsons Lisa unofficially changed her last name from Simpson to Bouvier because Homer made her upset during the crosswords competition by betting on someone else to win and coaching another kid. The only time men might use their mother maiden name is if their biological father is a deadbeat who isn't in their life.
