Hey, so I’m planning to take myself on my first vacation in a year or so hopefully. I’ve never traveled out of state by myself before, and I’ve never even flown on a plane, so I have a lot of questions. I’m wondering if people with travel experience can please help w a few questions below?

1. What is the best way to find a hotel near the area I want to vacation to? I would just google “hotels near x area.” Yet, I feel like there must be a better method people use to find the best rated hotels with the most affordable prices. Also, to make the hotel reservations, is it best to do so online or should I call?

2. Once I find a hotel, how do I locate a place nearby to rent a car to drive during my visit? Google? Or do hotels offer any assistance with finding car rentals possibly?

3. Is it true there are usually a lot of Ubers/lyfts nearby airports usually (in order to drive me to the car rental or hotel)?

4. Tips for sneaking weed onto my flight so I can smoke a lil during my vacation? Would it be alright to bring an eighth or so in a smell proof container in my luggage or backpack?
