I hope this isn't a stupid question.
I have been recently reading more and more alone in the library. A friend of mine would join me and they are always trying to converse with me. I always respond cordially, make sure to smile and be polite.
Well one day I was sitting in the library and enjoying my research and my friend came by and told me they disliked my company. I was obviously quite hurt, but what can I do if they don't find me to be their cup of tea. So I just smiled and laughed softly.
A couple days pass and they still continue to hang around me. I don't find them uncomfortable, infact they're welcomed to join me. But it's just sort of confusing. Any answers would be appreciated.
