Am I a asshole for reporting my Amazon driver?

So today I got a notification saying Amazon attempted to deliver my items so I checked my ring camera nothing, I checked for a note also nothing I was also home during the time they said they tried to deliver it . I reported this to Amazon that the drivers never came but said he did they told me that there would be actions taken against the driver so it sounds like I might have gotten him written up or even fired but I was just up set about the dishonesty and Amazon is also going to give me a discount for this .
