Apes became homo erectus which became Neanderthals which became Homo sapiens. Homo erectus died off from the Neanderthals, who died off to the Homo sapiens. So why are apes still present? Wouldn’t natural selection have destroyed their “base line” species to make way for the more evolved and adapted ones, ie homo erectus/neanderthals? The fact that apes still exist should mean that homo erectus and Neanderthals should still be around also, right?
Went camping during the summer and thought we saw something that resembled “Sasquatch” or Harry……it’s been in and out of my mind ever since.
