Why isn't there a r/bureaucracyhell for complaining about documentation? And the BS it requires?
Post Body

Definite rant incoming, will probably be deleted, whatever.

(Canada) Made an appointment to renew my passport, had all the documents, photos, everything needed. But I'm going on vacation in a month and need the passport before then.

Get to the appointment, wait 20 mins after said appointment, sit down and they ask when I'm travelling. (I've not been on top of things, I've last minuted this and I understand I did it)I say in a month. Response? "Oh our mailing times aren't until after that, you need to go to ( X Town), their times are half of ours."

So why was I told I could get (x) times, where you are? I could request it according to the website, but apparently the location says I can't? WTF?

Also, I showed up just at my time slot, they had just called my name and I wasn't there, so they pulled the next in line (I was there 2:30 for my 2:30, they require 10 mins early, was actually my fault).

But there were also like 10-15 also waiting, at 2pm on a Monday so I just find that to be a Bureaucratic hell. It definitely deserves it's own sub.
