Do higher clouds gives bigger area of shade/shadow?
Post Body

I feel like yes because the closer to the sun the bigger the shadow light how hand puppet next to a torch vs next to the wall.

But the Sun is also kinda a laser and bigger than the cloud and Earth itself, thus their light travels in a way of the straight, thus giving no benefits.

But a bigger stupid part of my brain said, as the Sun is bigger and the cloud is further from the Earth, it should makes the shade/shadow of the cloud smaller. Like how a house fire and a baby sitting next to the fire have smaller shadow than an adult sitting 10 meters apart...
