Can a company you’re applying to reject you because they found out you smoke weed, even if you do so safely and legally?
Post Body

When applying for a job, i have been told that they try to find your social media profiles to help determine if you would be a good employee. If someone posted something about smoking weed, but it’s legal and safe and not on company property, would that still make jobs less likely to hire you? It’s not like it would be posting an actual crime, but I know smoking weed is still frowned upon by many people. Would the majority employers refuse you a job for that reason alone?
