Hi! 👋 😊
I have a 4-pin USBA dongle for PS4 that needs 1 of the pins replaced. One of the shorter pins. I have plenty of male USB/A connectors lying around after switching to all USB/C last month. Can I pull the same pin off of let’s say a USB/A-to-Lightning cable?
Totally comfortable with all of the work. The pin that snapped off I did the mom’s basement thing and reshaped the end and added some solder to get me by. Looking for a my own basement-level, possibly garage-level fix. I’ll settle for the living room table, honestly.
TIA. Having trouble googling the exact question I’m having :/ You guys rock and I appreciate this community existing 🤗💜
Edit: I think the best donor I have is an old Ethernet adaptor.
