Is it normal to have a handful of hair come loose while hair washing?
Post Body

I am male, 19. I've always had a thick head of hair, especially when I don't cut it after 3/4 months. Ever since I was young I remember that when I apply shampoo and start massaging it into my head I'd have a lot of hair come out.

To preface, I do have dandruff (I have no idea why, I do get some very infrequent hay fever reactions I believe) as well as moving to the UK around 3 years ago which apparently the hard water could have some effects on the hair.

I have no idea if I'm just shampooing really roughly or something, but it's just something that I've always noticed.
