What happened to the culture of fixing things?
Post Body

We used to fix everything. Now every year we just throw more and more things out.

We used to fix clothes, radios, washing machines etc. Now all we do is chuck things out and order a new one.

We used to hand down clothes or TV’s, there was nothing wrong with that.

Why can’t we do that anymore? Why do we just want the latest thing? It’s just a washing machine or desk or shirt or a phone.

For example a fridge, Why get a new cloud connected one instead of repairing the old one?
