Why do cops in America make a driver they suspect has been drinking make all these coordination tests (like putting your finger on your nose with your eyes closed) instead of just using a breathalyzer?

There was a post on Reddit where a sober driver was arrested for DUI. And he has to do these coordination things. Like here:

This is not a thing in the contry I'm from - the police just use a breathalyzer. If you refuse a beathalyzer test, you will be transported to a hospital and give a blood test. (I don't know what happens if you also refuse a blood test, too lazy to look it up).
