Would it be a bad idea to call/message someone randomly asking about their family?
Post Body

I am doing genealogical research. I am completely stuck on my great-granduncle. I want to know where he died.

I found the name and phone number of his granddaughter(?) on google. From the looks of it, she's actually a successful author.

I'm autistic, and a little worried they might not take it well (or even respond) that I found all that information about them snooping on google... but I really want that info if possible. And I'd be happy to send them what I've found out about the family too.
