Why do people on Reddit ask questions that assume all people or all members of a group have a shared perspective, taste or opinion?
Post Body

It seems as if there’s a proliferation of questions on Reddit that try to establish a commonality across broad spectrums? “What kind of X do women like?” “Do men prefer women who do Y?” “Why do all Millennials choose Z?”

Are these just click bait questions or do people really believe opinions are monolithic within certain groups?
