so im from europe and i had one of my molars pulled today (not a wisdown teeth btw) and at least here in spain they only give you local anesthesia in the dentist no matter the procedure and all my life ive been watching people from united states getting sleepy during their extractions (because of the funny videos when they get out of the dentist) and i was in my bed wondering why it is so common for americans to get intravenous anesthesia during extractions mostly and why dont they do it in europe, do they really can’t handle being awake or “conscious”during it?
