Is Amazon Fire stick/TV removing YouTube?

Turned on my fire stick yesterday; couldn’t find the YouTube app where it usually is; found it, downloaded it again; now every time before I go into the app as normal-did it twice- I get this warning that “YouTube will be removed within a few weeks”
Why are they doing this? :(
