Programming veterans, Why do you keep on programming or keep working on projects?
Post Body

Serious answers will be appreciated.

I am in that stage of life where I am really confused about what I wanna do in life going forward. While I am not terrible at programming, my current skill level won't do if I want advance in this career. But I have always kind of lacked the motivation to push myself forward. It's not that I don't enjoy programming, it's just that I for some reason lack the will to push myself or learn more advanced stuff.

Thanks for your sicere and kind responses and maybe even life advices.
