What to expect for a tooth crown?
Post Body

I went to the dentist for my 6 month cleaning last week and was told to come back because I might have an old filling that’s cracked and needs a crown if there’s no room left for another filling (the actual dentist was out of town and the hygienist told her to look at my xrays when she’s back). I go tomorrow and am wondering what to expect. The filling is a year old and even though I wear a night guard, I guess I somehow cracked it from grinding. Will they immediately give me a crown tomorrow or will I have to wait a few weeks? Will it hurt/roughly how much will it cost? I have a savings plan and my 6 month cleanings are around $70 and in the past a filling has been around $100 including the numbing shot. I know every place is different but if anyone has advice or anything- I’m a little nervous. I hope this isn’t a stupid question
