There were two consensuses that explain why Saudi Arabia is deemed as very safe.
Many say its due to their strict interpretation of sharia law and the hard punishments like death penalty being used for almost every crime. Which I partially agree on, and I like it.
However, the anti-Arab fanboys said that its because due to how the country has a reputation of human right violations (still widespread in the Kingdom in 2024), crimes like rape, homicide and femicides (like so-called honour killings) and FGM are either ignored, praised or even legal.
So I am not sure which consensus reason is right.
