What are some recorded negative effects of living under a societal wide Protestant Work Ethic?
Post Body

I live in the United States, and I always lived under a forced mindset of "If you aren't working 24/7, you are a lazy sinner that deserves to burn in hell!", and everyday, I feel guilty if I am not being "Productive" in some form. Where I have to constantly remind myself that letting myself rest is healthy, not harmful. Okay so that's one sign of trauma from The Protestant Work Ethic. What are some other recorded negative effects on people's psychological health?
