Hi I’m from SE Asia and I’m really curious about the family and financial dynamics in US and Europe. What age do you usually leave home and does that mean cutting off all ties with your parents, even financially? If you or your parents get into financial trouble do you not help each other? Cause that’s the opposite problem with our side of the globe I think. Usually the kids feel the pressure of providing for their parents. What do you think is the right way to do it? Would just like to pick on your brains and get different opinions on this. I’m just really curious.
