How much does a few minutes change long-term exercise outcomes?
Post Body

I like to do 15 minutes on my mini stepper, rest for 5 (so the hydraulics can cool), then do another 15 minutes. I'm thinking of getting hour glasses to time myself so I stop sweating on my phone and/or obsessively checking it, but most hour glasses I can afford have or - 10% error. If this ends up being on the high end, that isn't really an issue, but in the worst scenario where I did a total of 10% less workout time (3 minutes), would that substantially impact my long-term results?

TLDR: Is a 30 minute daily workout the same as a 27 minute daily workout for all practical purposes, in the long run?
