In class today, we talked about how rich countries often rely on resources from poorer nations for things like biodiversity and climate regulation. It seems to me that compensating these countries for preserving their natural resources could be beneficial for everyone. However, Iām wondering if this is a realistic or effective solution.
I really hope this isn't a stupid question and my post gets an approval for the first time, also how can we ensure that this financial support actually leads to meaningful conservation efforts? I genuinely want to understand the complexities behind this whole issue.
