When does something become your “permanent address”?
Post Body

I just got a new apartment, my first, but I’m a college student with only so much time left.

I know I’ll be moving into a new apartment with my boyfriend in ~2 years when he gets out of the military, so there’s a definite location change coming up in the future. With that said, I’d like to renew my drivers license and I was wondering if I should just leave it as my parent’s address back home, or if it would be better to switch it to my current location (I’m in the same state as my parents, just across the state)?

Would it be silly to change it to a house I know I’ll be leaving within reasonable time?
