If it's NOT a government job, do I still need the state typing exam for typist positions?
Post Body
I'm in California where for government jobs surrounding typing (data entry, typists etc) required a state approved 5 minute proctored test- I got mine at the EDD office. I'm happy with my result, but the state test adjusts your errors to your speed... where other typing certs do not do that. So I'm going to use the one from EDD for government job applications... but do I need to use that one for NON government jobs??
I'm so confused!!!
