Do you believe that an exact sequence of words can change someone's mind or convince them?
Post Body

Aka. Choosing the right words. Do you believe that, virtually, it can make a difference?

Or do you believe that regardless of the way you say something, someone who made up their mind will not change? That the content has too much importance over the form.

Too often have I been stepping on eggshells having to bear bad news, or having to tiptoe around someone. Whether it's finding the right words, having to stay silent or speak out, like most of us, it's been an issue at some point.

What do you believe in? What's your opinion and how are you dealing with it?

Personally, everytime I mess up it leads to me thinking I could have managed a better outcome had I chosen my words with more care or if I abstained from speaking altogether.

I know others have their own agency and it is partly their own job to not misunderstand and jump to conclusions. But obviously what we think and what we feel won't always align.
