Is selling real estate successfully really just about being smarter or better looking than other agents?
Post Body

I’ve been looking at making the switch over to real estate recently. I am fairly well regarded in my current field, but I’m burnt out.

I met with a local broker just to have an introductory conversation. She told me to ignore most of what you hear about the industry. Yes, it’s difficult for most people but if you’re simply smarter or better looking than others, you’ll have no issues being a top producer.

Sounds reasonable, in a way, but is this actually true?
