Accidentally left pasta sauce jars in direct sunlight - still safe to consume?
Post Body

Just moved into a new flat yesterday evening and used a window ledge to store sauces. Woke up at about 11 o’clock and saw them in direct sunlight and very hot to touch. I put them in the fridge straight away but I’m worried about bacteria growth. Will they be safe to eat?

For reference they are coconut soy mascarpone pasta sauces, and pesto jars. All of the jars say to keep out of direct sunlight

Thank you

Had food poisoning twice over summer so I’m worried
