Why are there so few open world games like GTA? 🤔 Like, Crime Open World games, the financial success for publishers & devs would be massive as there is tremendous interest?
Post Body

You’d think that with the massive interest & success in Rockstar’s Games, other companies would want to jump on that train and serve us some Open World Crime Games.

Sure, none of them will be as good as Rockstar’s, but Rockstar now releases one game ever 10 years, I think people will be more than comfortable playing some decent, non-life changing Open World Crime games to pass the time while waiting

Could also be that I’m missing something but I dont think that I am, I am usually up-to-date when it comes to games and I cant recall many, if any at all, in the past 3-4 years?

Instead they keep making hero shooters and what-not 🥲
