I’ve been bothered all day today because my coworkers (who are teachers, I’m an aide) gave my boss negative feedback that they’d never given to me. I had actually already set a general meeting with my boss for today, and do believe that my boss asked them first what feedback they had for me. I do know our jobs are demanding and that they have a large group to manage. We’ve been in our team for about 2 weeks. It’s just bothersome because no one pulled me aside at any point or even sent a quick text just saying “hey, this is an area of improvement” (which might not be their job, but still.) Is it wrong that I was so bothered and took it personally that they didn’t talk to me first?
