I'm 24 now, but when I was younger, I'll admit that I thought seasonal depression was just not believable. Especially, because after being diagnosed with depression at 14, it felt weird thinking people only felt depressed during certain seasons. Now, I'm older and I've realized every Fall/Winter, I have this urge to get my life together, and be happier with life. I realized I start doing the opposite of my bad habits, and feel more at peace. Though, when Spring comes along, it's like the good feelings slowly go away. Summer is usually where I end up hitting the highest stage of depression and laziness. I'm still having trouble believing in seasonal depression, but just want to know if there's some type of theory or psychological science behind it.
