Do running shoes work for winter (for daily use) ?
Post Body

Are running shoes in general slippery in winter ? I'm mostly talking about using them for daily use, not really for running.

I love barefoot shoes and I struggle wearing anything other than that but I find it supper annoying how quickly the soles tend to get holes because they're thin. Luckily, this is not the case with running shoes (more specifically Altra running shoes) as they have thicker soles. Altras are also one of the very few shoes outside of barefoot shoes that fit me perfectly.

Could I prevent freezing by using thick wool socks in running shoes ?
