what is the “normal” number of songs to have fully memorized in your brain?
Post Body

and when i say fully memorized, i mean that if someone held a gun to your head and told you to sing the full song with zero mistakes, you could do it with zero hesitation. well, maybe one or two small mistakes to make this more realistic. anyway, i can look through my music and find 20 full-length albums (a couple of them over 2 hours long) that i could easily sing every word of top to bottom and can almost hear them playing in my head identical to the recording. i always attributed this to being a lifelong theatre kid with fast memorization skills and a love for music, but it just dawned on me that this could be incredibly normal and this ability of mine might not be as special as i thought. how much music do you have sitting in your brain catalog?
