Is succeeding in a competitive field all about having advantages over other people?
Post Body
That's what it seems like, and the more I think about it the more it seems to be true. Basically having access to certain privileges and making sure the competition doesn't get access to it. More examples: access to the *good* teachers, access to well-connected people who can help you, that kind of thing. That's what separates the successful people from unsuccessful people.
