I am currently being assessed for autism and OCD. The first session was fine, a basic interview and some basic cognitive testing that everyone gets. The second appointment started with questions specifically pertaining to OCD, which made sense. They also had me do a test where I had to press a button every time I saw an X, but not any other letter, and a very similar test where I pressed a button when a low sound was followed by a high sound. The third appointment was more questions, but they seemed to be specifically about my social life, questions like "Do you prefer being alone" "Are you satisfied with your sex life/have you ever tried dating and do you want to" "How do you relate to others" "How do you react to criticism/compliments" "Do you worry about being rejected/criticized". Questions like that.
I am really curious both about the button test and the last questions they gave me. The questions seem very specific and focus on the things I struggled the most with, so I really want to know what that test is for. Does anyone have any idea?
