In real life, was being royalty as great as depicted in fantasy stories?
Post Body
In fantasy stories being a king, queen, prince or princess is often depicted as something regal and being at the top an honorable position. Though in real life, what was it like being royalty compared to popular fantasy? Were they as regal and loved by their people like in fiction? Was life as a king great to live compared to being a common man?
