how to buy cigarettes???

I need the iconic Marlboro red package of cigarettes for a photoshoot I’m assisting on - but I’ve never bought cigarettes. (I’m 28, I am legally allowed to buy cigarettes) Do I just ask for Marlboro reds? Is there any other specification? Hate asking cashiers for help as it is (: thx in advance (I’ve read other posts about buying cigs but they were in Canada or not specific enough)
