I live in an apartment with overly obnoxious upstairs neighbors. Every single day at any given time (I’ve worked day shifts and night shifts since living here. No matter what time of day it is, the neighbors are stomping so badly my dog barks, thinking someone is at the door). I’ve called the apartment complex between 30-50 times in the last 6 months with noise complaints, attempted “the broom method”, talked to the neighbor in person (she was extremely rude and obviously did not change her methods), left both polite and disrespectful notes on their door, and called the non emergent police once… What more can I physically do? My husband is hardly home so he doesn’t see it as a problem, but he’s the one who pays our rent and is in charge of our lease. I feel like I’m out of options but I can never sleep and feel completely helpless at this point.
