Someone at work brought peaches and nectarines from their backyard, and I thought, "Cool, now I have something to eat for dessert." So I finished my lunch, washed a nectarine, and started eating it. Almost after finishing it, I noticed that I could see the seed as it was cracked open. After finishing eating, I tried to open the seed since I enjoy propagating seeds, but to my dismay, I noticed that the seed had mold. Some green little patches, some white colonies, and a spiderweb-looking kind of mold.
I decided to induce vomiting, but my body seems to have forgotten its gag reflex, so it took a while to throw up like a third of what I ate. For sure, I still have some of the fruit in my body. Should I have antibiotics to prevent me from getting sick, or what should I do?
