Why do I still feel like I'm being swayed by ocean waves?

I was at the beach all day getting myself slammed by waves, skipping over waves, and body surfing and theres a specific feeling of swaying that i felt from all of it. Hours later, I'm in bed and I can still feel that rocking and swaying motion as if I'm still in the ocean. Does anyone have an explanation for this?
