When did finding a job become like winning the lottery?
Post Body

People are filling out hundreds of applications to maybe, hopefully land a job. Companies are expecting you to have a solid cover letter, be way overqualified, and give them a 10 min pitch on why theyโ€™re the company you want to work for.

What the hell happened to the days you submitted your resume and called the next day for an update?

When did finding a decent job feel like hitting the jackpot or winning the lottery?
