Is kicking child out after x years a city thing?
Post Body

To be clear, I know everywhere there are shitty parents, or people who cuts off "black sheep of the family". Also what I base off is my own observations, that may be incorrect, so that's why I'm curious

Back to question, there are many stories about someone getting kicked out after turning 18, or girls not wanting to date someone who still lives with their parents.
But... looking around it doesn't seem to be the case in the village. Outside of the black sheep thing, people have some land, own the house, and doesn't mind, or even want kids to stay with them, to help with animals for example. Generational houses and all that stuff.

It's more common for young adults to go away for college, and then not come back because there is no job in their field or something, but kicking someone out to "be independent"?

Do some of you know more about it? Is it because in city it's harder to own a house or something? Or maybe some of you are from village and see the same kicking out trend there?
