Am i wrong for not buying the car?
Post Body

I went to Kia with my dad since he knows more about cars and told them I wanted a K5 but it was 24K and would've been $700 a month. I asked for something used but everything was out of my budget since I only make 15/hr.

I wanted to just look around to see what I really wanted. But the dealer ran my credit and everything. After looking at a suv and a couple sedans. I saw a Kia Forte 2024 for 21K and loved it. He told me the numbers, it would've been $500 monthly with 17% interest since my dad would be co-signing. This is my first time financing/buying and my dad wasn't really giving me any information on whether what he's saying is good or not. I felt overwhelmed so I told them i'd think on it while the dealer and his manager kept trying to get me to drive off the lot. Am I wrong for just leaving after I was approved? Or should I have just got the car?
