Does lagered beer in 2024 taste like it would have in 1924? 1724?
Post Body
I find beer so interesting because it's one of the oldest inventions that is still common. It's made everywhere by everyone.
But I have to imagine that a bottle of Red Stripe I bought today is different from how it used to be.
To be clear, I am specifically talking about lager because it's a pretty narrow definition of beer, and because of its dominance in my part of the world it's probably easier to look back on through a narrow lens.
