Does datacollecting really do what I think it does?
Post Body

I mean, we have no privacy in our lives anymore since the smartphones and social media came out. So what I was thinking is this: the data collecting companies are companies who are owned by the government or who own the government: it’s which way you look at it. They have real data on it’s population meaning they can manipulate social media interaction by your data: let’s say you’re a racist person, the algorithm in the ForYou sections automatically will start showing race difference amongst humankind. (For example you hate black guys, so the algorithm will start programming your mind to be more hateful through what kind of video’s or posts you encounter.)

Does this make sense?
