Is it considered bad taste/stupidness if you ask your bartender to mix a drink that usually isn't miced?
Post Body

For example I love white russians. But I just want to sip it without too much stirring as most bartenders will add too much ice to save on liqueur and then I spill everything because the ice cubes collide and the whole evening is ruined and my disappointment is immeasurable (example might be exaggerated)

Thus I always order my white russian and ask nicely if it's a peoblem if the bartender just mixed the cream in the drink and not have it float on top...

It is MY drink and I pay for it and it is ME who should enjoy this drink but still sometimes i get that look from people or even the bartender himself so now I am thinking if it is me who is in the wrong??

Any input is appreciated!!

Edit: yes. miXed, not miCed... sorry
